This movie impacted me beyond words. My name is Julia and I am 17, fixing to turn 18 next Monday. I live in Mississippi and I have been in the system since 2007. Megan’s story related most to mine, because I ended up in RTC and spent 17 months in 3 different ones. I had a sister that actually go to stay with my grandma, I was abused in every way known to man. Both my mother and father did drugs. I molested by 6 different people and I struggle with it daily. I have a great head on my shoulders and this movie actually shows me that no matter what, we can do anything we set our minds to. That it’s not about the past, its about how we live in the future. Thank you so much for making this movie, it truly was an inspiration!!
